Registry question..

Registry question..

ladies who registered for fine china and casual dinnerware,

what did you get for each?

I'm refining the question:

How do they compare? I ask because I'm a tard and I'm confused as to what counts as 'fine china'... So I don't know how casual to go with my every day to leave room for my china to be fancy without being too expensive, KWIM?

I registered for fine china. I received a few of the serving pieces and my mom purchased all 12 of my place settings.

My mom just purchased the entire fine china set.....all the place settlngs, gravy boat/stand, platters, etc etc etc etc.......

my fine dinnerware is 39.99 for a 4 piece setting at BBB.....hopefully that gets purchased with a 20% off coupon!!!!!!!!!

I mean like, what did you register for? How does your 'everyday' compare to your 'fine china' in brand/quality/price?

Re: Registry question..

my fine china was the Waterford Padova ones...they were 115 per 5 piece setting.....my everday is Mikasa stoneware 4 piece 39.99

ETA: Everyday, aside from the setting, I only added the creamer, and sugar bowl and I am going to add 2 platters......thats it.

The fine I added all the extras (gravy bowl, stand, platters, serving bowls, soup bowls, creamer, sugar bowl.......

For our everyday I think it was $60 for 4 place settings, our china is $99 per setting.
