How many sets of everything is everyone registering for?
Place Settings? Flatware? Wine Glasses? Every day glasses? Speciality glasses (beer pilsners/margarita glasses/champagne flutes/etc.)?

i'm glad you asked this. i'm kind of having a hard time figuring this all out. while i wanted service for 12 for formal occasions, i only wound up registering for 8 because that's all my table fits lol. my thoughts are that i can always add on once i move to a house and can host more people.
so, my short answer is- 8 of each lol

see I have the same issue. We both have pretty big families so I feel we would need more to accomodate everyone if we host an event. But I agree I could always just add later on or if I don't have the room right now we can just store it until we move into a house.

place settings - 2 flatware - 2 that have 2 pieces each wine glasses - 1 (b/c i already have a bunch) everyday glasses - 1 that has 24 pieces (b/c i already have a bunch) speciality - 1 set beer mugs, 1 set martini glasses and a 7 piece beverage set that comes w/ a pitcher

yeah, i just made sure that i picked sets that wouldn't be retired. plus i'm still throwing around the idea of china...i may just stick with my everyday white and 'jazz it up' lol for holidays. still not even sure about that. this whole registry thing can be confusing

Im registering for 12 place settings and flatware as well as 12 wine glasses, goblets, and flutes because we plan on hosting holidays. for regular drinking im registering for a set 30 cups of different sizes.

yeah I am definitely a NO on the china front... I am going to register for every day dishes that are just as nice for entertaining. I guess I need to just take an inventory on what we have/what desperately needs to be replaced and then go from there... granted we could register for like a service for 16 people but that doesn't necessarily mean we're gonna get it LOL

Whatever the girl at bbb put down. I have to go an reregister for my every day china since I think it was discontinued. I believe it was 12 for fine and 8 for everyday

for everyday cheap wine classes macys has some. its on sale now for 16.99 for 12. orig price 25$

i did 12 of basically everything-
12 china 12 every day- I was going to do 8 but fmil thought its good to have extra 12 lenox wine glasses 2 different kinds of flat were then 8 of everday wine (big wino)

Flatware? 2 sets of 20pcs
Wine Glasses? 2 sets of 4. 2 red, and 2 white
Every day glasses? 1 set of 16 and 1 set of tumblers
Speciality glasses (beer pilsners/margarita glasses/champagne flutes/etc.)? 1 set of 12 goblets, and 1 set of pint glasses
we plan to move once we get married, so our first place will be an apartment or townhome until we save for a house. So we aren't asking for much, bc we're unsure if we will have the room right now

the good china i already have has 12 place settings
