i am not having a big shower & we have been living together for over year. we have alot so I am having problems with stuff to add to our registry. this is what i have so far..any other suggestions??

if you feel that you have all the things you need, why not register for really pretty things you would like but that you would not think to buy yourself. like pretty vases, artwork...
or have you thought about a honeymoon registry?

we're going to have the same problem, but by the time that we will be having a shower i'm going to want to replace all my everyday dishes and i want one of those really good knife blocks. and i think new pots/pans. (i cook alot) even if you double up on like sheets and stuff that would be good. tablecloth w/ matching napkins dishtowels all that basic stuff you can always use

My FH and I have lived together over a yr. We registered for everyday dishes. Some nice pans that we didnt have yet. Waterford glasses. some stand mixer attachments. Just things that we liked and thought would be useful but arent necc. our registry printout was only 1 and a half pages...lol. We are also registering for our honeymoon so people could buy us off of that registry considering we have almost everything we need.

we've lived together for 4 1/2 years already.. What we did was basically upgrade our stuff or get things we've always said we wanted...like a crock pot, etc...
We got MUCH better quality towels, a new microwave, things like that!

me and FH live together lol and were registering for all new stuff!!! were IMPROVING lol what we have and FH wants a steamer! lol I want a digital frame! stuff that we wouldnt' by ourselves too !

yup...us too...we bought a house almost 5 years ago. We're just replacing stuff mostly. Have you gone to the store yet? You'd be surprised how many things you can find.

FH and I live together, we went today and we managed to find 5 pages worth of stuff to register for, right off the bat!
We have to go back, we forgot lots of stuff lol.
We are getting nicer versions of stuff - when we got the apartment we were strapped for cash and got the cheapest version of everything - now we can get nicer stuff! (that doesn't necessarily come from Ikea!)

FH and i have lived together for 3 and a half years, but we want all new stuff. So we really registered for everything. The only thing we bought ourselves was the Allclad pots and pans set, cause it was around 800 dollars and honestly i dont think anyone is going to spend that on a shower gift, so we just bought it last week, and will start using it when our house is ready. Oh we didnt register for a vacuum cleaner cause our house is going to have central vac, so theres no need for one, all the rooms have this thing u just sweet the dirt into

We had the same issue but we are registering for upgrades. Good pots , China stuff we didn't really want to buy for ourselves, vacuum but then also smaller stuff that we will just store until ours breaks. Trust me its easy to find stuff

Same here,
in addition to like fine china and crystal stemware..
We are are registering for like towels, sheets, another comforter set. A good vacuum, a mixer, food processor... we are basically just upgrading everything....

I would say just upgrade....why not? New crock pot, new silverware, dishes, blender, toaster oven, coffee maker, pots, pans, or individual nice pots, knives, table cloth, place mats, bathroom rugs, a new shower head, towels, if you have more then 1 bedroom 2nd bedroom bedding, blankets, sheets.....I got most of my stuff at my engagment party, so for my shower i added just nice things from the china section at BBB, I also added a Roomba...i really want that, a dust buster, maybe decorative items? Just some ideas
