how many sets of wine/martini/etc glasses did you register for?
mine are in a set of 4 and i registered for 2 sets but do i need 2 sets? how many did you register for?

I had the hardest time deciding the same issue. I ended up registering for 2 sets = 8 pcs total. just in case I figured. I dont like hosting and then using different glasses/plates/silverware, I like them all to match

For my wine glasses and champagne flutes I registered for 12 (to go with my place settings) for other kinds of glasses I don't think you need to do any more than 8 glasses... glasses are the biggest p.i.t.a to store and when you think about it how many people at one time will ever be over drinking martinis?

For the 'everyday' wine glasses I did 2 sets of 4. Like Gina said, how many people are really going to be drinking martini's at the same time? For the martini glasses I did one set of 4.

everyday glasses i did 32. each box is 16 glasses.
as far as martini glasses n stuff...
on average how many people do u usually have over?? theres your answer youre safe with 8......an extra box in addition to the 8 is good incase some break, u dont have mix n match.
if ur entertaining a huuuuuuge party.. usually just the girls drink martinis and the guys beer.. so ur prob safe with 8.

Hi, I registered for 12 fine crystal wine glasses and 12 fine crystal iced beverage glasses because i figured if I set the table for a formal dinner, everyone would get a wine and beverage glass. I also have a bunch of fun wine glasses that I had gotten a few years ago as gifts for less formal get-togethers. I registered for 4 mini martini and 4 cordial glasses, figuring that not everyone will have a martini or cordial at the same time when they come over and cocktails are being served. I would have upped it to 8 martini if I had more space though.

I think my mom told me to do sets of 12? I have no idea though. We do plan on doing a lot of hosting when we get our apartment.....so I think 12 should be fine!

For fine crystal, I did 12 - along with my china. For everyday use, I did 8.

for the fine stemware I registered for 8 iced beverage and 8 wine goblet even though I have 12 fine china place settings. I don't think I will have 8 people drinking wine at the same time from it. If I ever need more then I will just purchase it myself.
As for everyday stemware I have 8 wine glasses.

When we moved in I already had casual china which is simple and white and I love it. I only had 8 sets and we upgraded to 12...it's really needed
