I registered this weekend, is it weird that i registered for some of my china at BBB and the accessories (sugar, creamer, platters) at another store. BBB only carries a small portion of the acessory items that accompany the china pattern i chose. I told FH that most people will check both registries before deciding what to buy.

i heard that bbb can order the matching pieces even if they dont carry them....u just have to ask

I had to do the same thing...
I ordered the other pieces from Macy's, and the dishes/ platters from BBB. I would have registered it all from Macy's, however, it was much cheaper at BBB for the dishes/ platters, and BBB didn't carry the accessories.
My mom said that she liked that because some people will go to Macy's and others will go to BBB.
No big deal...

WHAT??? I never knew this... I can't find my butter dish anywhere except amazon.... can they still order it, even if it is not on their website... FM me please :) I know I will forget about this thread

I just got off the phone with BBB. they are able to get the accessories straight from the manufacterer it just takes longer (from 6-8 weeks for delivery). Macy's may be able to ship them faster. So that's something to consider i guess.

I don't think it's weird at all. Almost everyone registers at more than one store. Having different china items at different stores will accommodate people who like to shop at other stores more than BBB.

there are a ton of websites that allow you to register at all different stores online and host them all in one place. You just sign up for free at these sights and link to the product page of the things you like.
I had to do the same because I'd like some accessories that BBB doesn't offer

not weird at all! i did macys and bbb. i actually did 6 place setting at one store and 6 at another. i was suprised at the great sale prices macys had on my china.
