registry question: stainless for everyday

fi and i found this BEAUTIFUL stainless flatware set that we loooove. we're not registering for formal china b/c we will never use it. is it ok for us to register for $30-a-place-setting stainless flatware for everyday use? is stainless ok for everyday use?

stainless is best for everyday. and i think $30 per place setting is quite reasonable.

most flatware is made from SS- stainless steel

but there are different kinds and different manufacturing processes ( I work in the housewares industry)

18/0- good
18/8- better
18/10- best

I have18/8 for everyday and 18/10 for when I use my china

$30 is reasonable for everyday flatware- you are going to have it for a long time
