Registry Question (with poll)

What percent (estimate) of stuff did you get off your registry? As of now, I only have about 25%, but I have no clue when my shower is... FH tells me within a week stuff will be flying off, but my grandma said to get ready in July.. I don't know and they are really throwing me off!!! I hate surprises!

Also, how many place settings did you get and how much are they(if you don't mind sharing)? I registered for Lenox Eternal and they are $79.95 each, but I didn't get any yet

I havent had my BS yet, so I don't know about the first part of your question. But I registered for 12 settings of my china. And each setting is 199.99 lol It is Lennox , but I forget at the moment which one.

I figured why not go for what I want, if no one buys it for me then oh well. If they do then WOO HOOO lol

i think it depends what you register for & what type of people you have buying you gifts.
all of my less expensive stuff was purchased. anything over $100(like my calphalon pot set, bedding-stuff like that) was still left on the list because people didnt chip in so you never know. i would just try to register for a bunch of smaller things because it's easier for people to buy

Re: Registry Question (with poll)

I had three registries. My Macy's registry had the most reasonably priced items so almost everything was bought from that. My Fortunoff registry mostly had my china and silverware, and for my shower most of my place settings were bought, and my MIL bought the silverware (which I knew she was getting before I registered for it). My Williams Sonoma registry had less than half of the items bought, but I think that's because their items are so pricey.

Don't worry, you'll be surprised how generous people are, plus there are always a few people that buy you wedding gifts off the registry, or birthday/Christmas gifts even after the wedding.
