We just started registering this weekend. We decided to register for our china at BBB because they have the same exact patterns and you can use the 20% off coupons to purchase it (even though it says you can't). Problem is they don't have most of the serving pieces and 'extras.' They'd have to order it online. Would it be strange to register for half of the china at BBB and half at Fortunoff??

Not at all, I will have to do the same since FFIL is dead set against having our registry from Fortuneoff. Anything that I register at Macy's I will order half of the quantity from Fortuneoff.

Chances are , your guests will look at one or the other registry, not both. And even if they do, I don't think anyone would even notice... it's only brides who obsess like that!!

I think it's fine to do both... gives people a choice because not everyone looks at BB&B and not everyone goes to Fortunoff's! That way you have a better chance of getting it all!!!
