ok so the wedding is in June 08.. and i havent reg. yet since we didnt have an E-party.. so 1. When should i register??? 2. How do i register??? We as of right now do not have a place yet.. we were going to move into my parents (where i am now) but we decided that its for the best if we dont. so how do i know what to register for if we dont have a place to 'fill up' ?? 3. How many places is normal??? i like macys and BBB? fortunoffs has alot of nice stuff but kinda feel its out of our familes budget!!

i didnt have an eparty but i registered about a month after we got engaged and i got lots of engagement gifts!! you can register whenever you want i did 3 places, Fortunoff's, bbb and Macys

you can register right now if you want to. You can go by the BBB checklist (it's on their website) and filter out what you don't think you'll need. We plan on registering at fortunoffs, we are already registered at BBB, just go in to the registry counter and tell them you're there to register. They love when you register because it means $$ for them so they're always really nice, and it's a lot of fun! Don't be scared.

if u register to early some items will discontinue...this is happening to my friend right now...her wedding is in november and she registered in january...many items have been discontinued...i would wait till atleast jan or feb to do it...

THis is true for seasonal merchandise like bedding/towels, etc. We registered in January for our November wedding, but held off until the spring for towels/bedding, etc. We registered at BB&B, Macy's and Crate and Barrel and were happy with everything, especially the first two. BB&B has a great, easy return policy and your guests can use their coupons, and Macy's has a reward program and we earned an additional $200 gift card for all of the purchases people made off of it.
