Registry Stalkers Annonymous

So I stalk my registry..... STALK it lololol

Today I signed on to stalk, and I noticed a whole big bunch for 'fullfilled' things!!! BUT I then noticed that it wasn't stuff we registered for! There's a whollllllllllllllllllllllllleeeeeeeee list of stuff we want in alllllllll diff price ranges, and someone bought us some wierd and random stuff!! Did this happen to anyone else? Why is it annoying me? lol

it actually happens when people go to pay at the registers...they scan the registry and if anything they're buying wasn't on your registry to begin with, its automatically added...its weird and can cause mild cases of paranoia but its ok

i worked at bbb for awhile i had a ton of brides coming in wondering about the same thing

Re: Registry Stalkers Annonymous

I feel really guilty, as an old online friend of mine--we've met a few times in person, but not for a couple of years--bought a present off my registry. She asked a while ago where we registered, but it was part of a whole 'where are you having the wedding, what kind of ceremony, what dress, blah blah blah...' I didn't actually expect a gift! Not an expensive gift, but I didn't even invite her to the wedding. I had thought of it, but she travels so much now, lives in Philadelphia, and it's a very small wedding... Deep, deep guilt. And awe that I have such good, sweet friends.
