Someone mentioned the other day that if people buy something from your registry and their own items at the same time, those get 'added' to your registry, even if they're not for you.
I don't have any info about whether this is true, but I thought it might be able to explain some really off-the-wall items you might be seeing.

Yea, if they purchase something else at the same time they pay for stuff off of your registry, it shows up as well. AT least that's how it goes for BB&B. It could be different for other stores.
I did the same thing , I was obsessed with looking at my registry. Now I hardly even remember to look at it. I would like to purchase some items I had down , but no one bought.

Oh that is Def true!
I used to work at Fortunoff and if you scanned the registry when the customer was checking out whatever the customer bought was put on the registry.

My shower is Friday and I've been a BAD girl stalking my registry! Here's a weird one, at least I think so - I have 2 bath towels in 4 different colors on my registry, someone bought one of each color

I'm trying not to because no one has bought anything off my registry and I'm still trying to figure out why. I know for a fact people have bought things and two of my bms keep saying 'we bought something similar so you wouldnt know what', etc...lol

LMAO! I think my shower is on Sunday, too, and I have been stalking like a mad woman. Almost everything has been purchased. YAY!
We registered for monogram coasters. Well, someone purchased them and then purchased ones for themselves (monogram letter R). So, I was totally stalking my guest list to figure out whose last name begins with 'R'. I am terrible!
