After reading a post asking to show your dinnerware, I went to my registry and noticed that someone bought something!!! Someone got the coffeemaker.
How do you prevent yourself from registry stalking? It's so tempting!

just gotta have will power... I am dead set on not stalking... I like surprises. Once I tell my mom that the registry is complete, I am not looking at it or updating it. The shower is going to be a surprise as well so I don't want to see someone buying stuff off the registry and then figuring out the shower is near.

it is so tempting to not look at your registry daily and see if people are actually buying the things you need.

I got a gift mailed to me too, i am going to send a thank you card when I send out all of my shower thank you cards.
As far as it being a surprise, mine was supposed to be, but me just do not know how to keep their mouths shut! My FFIL spilled the beans first, then last weekend my MALE cousin spilled them again, and yesterday on facebook another MALE family friend mentioned it on his facebook page! I tried so hard not to find out, and it just came to me!
As far as stalking, I was really good at first and did not look, but once I got a gift in the mail, I had to take a peek!

I could not help myself I was constantly looking and updating. I'm glad I'm not the only one. Also, I sent thank you notes as soon as I received gifts in the mail. I just had my shower last saturday so I will send out the thank you notes for that next week.

i registry stalked then made a pact with Shauna not to... and her shower was the next weekend... lol so i went back to stalking after only about a week... i did it like 10 times a day... i only had a BBB registry so it wasnt so bad
