I have 490 Days until the wedding....I guess that the shower will be 2~3 months before in late August ~October - families and friends wants to start getting us stuff soon - ....Is it to early to register in next year around April ? May? I don't want to do it too early....

if you are registering for an engagement party than i would do it..but if you are not and its just for your shower than u should wait till about 4-5 months before the wedding because stuff gets discontinued sometimes on the registry and stuff u pick may not be available at the time people go to purchase stuff for you...hth

i registered early (for engagement party) bow a lot of the stuff i registered for is discontinued !!

I registered about 13 months before the wedding due to family requests. They wanted to buy stuff we needed for the engagement party. I would just make sure you go back and update it. I update mine on line periodically in case things get discounted or out of stock.

If you register with Macys and you have a card with them, then you earn Reward Points towards a future gift card on all the purchases you make at Macys from the day you register until the day of your wedding (10% of your Macys purchases will go towards the gift card).
So, I say register now and watch the points accumulate!!

Waaaay to early for your shower registry. Unless you want pots and pans for your engagement rather than envelopes, wait until a few months like four before your anticipated shower.
