Does any one regret asking one of there girls to be there BM?? I asked an old HS friend and when I asked her I said to her I know that we have drifted apart after the last few years and I hope that by you being one of my BM that will bring us closer together. Well no I am totally regretting asking her at all, and this has been in my mind of a few months. I found out after my shower of course that she did not help at all, questioning all that was being done and complaining that she did not have any money to contribute. After hearing this I felt so bad for the 2 girls that worked so hard on the party. Then I asked that all the girls pick up there dress this weekend. She was the only one that had a problem,,,,,,. It was my daughters b-day so every one was coming over..she storms in the house “WHY didn’t you answerer the phone??” I have a bout 20 people in the house I can not hear the phone if it rang WHY DIDN’T you tell me I needed to bring cash _regardless that she had NOTHING ON HER NO $$ NO CC NOTHING and she is yelling at me. SO FH took $$ out and took her to get the dress…she said how will I pay you back HELOOO A CK In the mail would do or the next time we see each other you have the $$$. .so many other things makes me feel that she doesn’t want to be apart of it all , but yet I feel bad that is isn’t but she is doing it to her self

Yeah, actually I do regret asking one of my BM's but since she does not call me or return my calls, I'm just pretending I never asked he to begin with. I probably won't even send her an invite.

Re: Regrets
I regretted asking my (ex)MOH. When I had to postpone my shower because my mother was in the hospital, she told me that it wasn't appropriate to put myself first. Needless to say, she threw 28 years of friendship out the window when she said that and I got to ask my cousin to be my MOH instead. A much better choice.

Re: Regrets
so far no, but my relationship with both FSIL are rocky at times. they've hurt my feelings in the past a few times,I only asked older sister out of respect for FH....I haven't asked his younger sister yet b/c of the fact she disliked me but we kinda patched things up, I feel guilty not asking her so I will most likely ask due to respect for FH as well.... XOXOXOXO Kitty
