Rehearsal

Does anyone know if the Catholic Church REQUIRES that you have a rehearsal? I am getting married at 10am and wouldn't want to make people travel 2 days before the wedding? Besides I am only having a MOH and BM. Thanks.

maybe call your church and ask them? i am getting married in catholic church but have no idea if it's mandatory or not.

Not sure on this one, but every wedding that I've been in (all Catholic brides) have had a rehearsal the night before in the church. I would call the church directly like jennbaby suggested. Good luck!

I don't think it is mandatory at all. I am getting married in a Catholic Church and they have just told me that I cannot have my rehearsal as originally scheduled and since most of my BP is from out of town, noone will be in when the church wants me to have the rehearsal (on Thurs...wedding is Sun). So you are fine without it...

I was told that I didn't HAVE to have one, but I want one. Might depend on the Church. Just call and ask them.

My priest told me we didn't need one but I wanted one anyway.
