So I am getting married at the place. They don't do rehearsals (i think). How do I go about making sure everything runs smoothly with readings and walking and stuff like that? hmmm

Re: Rehearsal
Did you call them to see if you can do a run through before hand?!?! im sure they dont have anything going on during the week so they can have you run through it! I would call just to find out!
I know a few people who got married at the location and they were able to do a rehersal

Re: Rehearsal
I'm having similar issues. The place only does morning of rehearsals and I don't know how it'll fit in with all the stuff I have to get done that day like hair, makeup, pictures, etc.
I'm wondering if they are really neccesary?

I can't imagine that they wouldn't let you do a run through. I could understand if you were planning on doing itn on a Fri-Sun because they have other events going on but you should be able to go there during the week just to run though everything with your WP.

Re: Rehearsal
Definitely work with them to schedule one at some point - my sister got married at her RH and there was no rehearsal - I'll just say that we DEFINITELY could have used a rehearsal. lol

We just had no idea what was going on. As each person walking down the aisle got up to the doorway to walk in, the bridal attendant or whoever would whisper where to go, and it was confusing - they also didn't do that whole groom's people on one side, bride's people on the other side thing...but that's what all of the parents knew to do...so it was a little weird!

see and this is precisely why I can't believe they wouldn't allow a run-through. I would definitely call them and say something to the affect of how you don't want such an important event in your life to not run smoothly simply because you couldn't have a rehearsal. It's not like the rehearsal is going to last all night. It's going to be like 20-30 tops. Definitely try and work something out.
I'd be too nervous not having a rehearsal
