Rehearsal and Rehearsal Dinner

How soon do/did you book the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner?

My wedding is just over a year away, so I know it's a little early, but I am working on my schedule for the next year!

We got married in October and booked the RD in mid-June. I think we actually booked the rehearsal (tentatively, and then we confirmed) on the day that we met with the priest and booked the church.

We had our RD on a Thursday night b/c the wedding was on a Friday (though my brother's RD was also Thurs. for a Sat. wedding). We had no problem booking the room we wanted. We had it at the Wantagh Inn.

When I got the church, the priest set the rehersal at the same time.

I'm getting married on a Saturday and the rehersal is Friday night at 630p

i'm getting married on a sunday and booked w/ the church for friday at 6. then we're heading to a Friday's or something. I know they don't take reservations but usually if you call that day and say you're coming w/ 30 people they will have room for you.

When we booked East Wind they told us we had to have a rehearsal within a few days of the wedding. We're getting married the day after thanksgiving so we are thinking of having our RD wed instead of the night before. I am going to make a reservation for the restaurant as soon as they will let me.

i booked the rd 2 weeks ago and i'm getting married in 26 days so don't stress about it..i'm not getting married in a church though so i'm not sure about that part..

I am getting married in Nov & booked my RD & rehearsal in March--our church required us to finish precana before we could set a rehearsal date so that is why I waited until march.
