rehearsal dinner

ok, some questions:

i am printing up my own rd invites and mailing them out. do i need to put an rsvp on them? shouldn't everyone who's in the party know they have to be there?

is it necessary to invite the SO's of the wedding party?

i am having my 3 cousins in my party (BM, RB and FG) and will be inviting their parents (my aunts and uncles) to come, too. so in that case, is it right to invite the SO's?

my fh thinks we don't need the invites but i thought it'd be cute. is everyone doing this?

TIA!!!

I'd still put a phone number to rsvp

It is not necessary to invite the SO's of people in the party or OOT guests.

If there are children in the party you should invite the parents. You do not necessarily have to invite the SO's just because you invite parents of minors

I made my own invites as well. I'm having a small brunch so we only needed 8 invites.

Re: rehearsal dinner

We did really cute invites from Lion in the Sun. We're inviting our BP w/ guests, but I don't think that it's completely necessary...a nice thing to do though. We did an RSVP b/c a number of people in our BP are OOTers, and might not make it. We're not actually 'rehearsing' though, b/c it's a wedding...all they do is walk down the aisle (not rocket science). On that same note, I don't think that they 'have to be there'. If they have something else important to do, it's not the end of the world.
