Do you think it is bad if we did a simple rehearsal dinner without including alcoholic drinks? More than half the people that would be there don't drink but there are a few that do. It would of course save us money if we do it without drinks.

Since some do drink--maybe just wine and beer instead of a full bar?

I do not think it would be an issue. I ahve been to plenty of RH dinners and there was tab for guests. Is it possible to just put wine on the tables?

For us soda and coffee are included but since we didn't want to have alcohol really we decided to put a bottle of red and a bottle of white wine on each table and whatever is open we pay for.
