Rehearsal dinner?

Rehearsal dinner?

I've heard mixed things -- is there an actual rehearsal at a rehearsal dinner, or is it just called that and really its only a dinner.

And do you have to pay extra to rehearse at your hall (i'm getting married at fox hollow.)

The rehearsal dinner is usually held right after the rehearsal which is usually at the ceremony site be it a church or a reception hall. You don;t need a rehearsal though, and Ive been to RDs where there was no rehearsal it was just an excuse to have a dinner with the soon to be weds and family. You have to ask JT about the rehearsa I dont know. Don;t forget you will also need your clergy

i think it depends on where you are getting married. I cant speak for what happens when you get married AT the reception hall. I'm not sure if you get to practice or not. I got married in a church, and we rehearsed what would happen that day at the church, and then went out to dinner.
