Re: rehearsal dinner
I'm not doing invites. I've never gotten an invite to a rehearsal dinner myself. I guess my family, friends and I don't know etiquette, or care.

Re: rehearsal dinner
My FMIL bought invites but then she made something nice but informal on her own. She's going to get nice paper and print them out herself. Sorry, I don't have a pic..she did it in MS Word.
ETA it's not realy a 'rehearsal' dinner as much as a get together for family and OOT guests the night before the wedding. We wanted people coming in from OOT to have notice of it so they can plan their trips around it. We have been spreading the word it via word of mouth but there's alot of people so it semed easier to do it this way..we're also including a map from the hotel to the location.

Re: rehearsal dinner
I highly doubt I will be doing this. I never received one either. IMHO I think that word of mouth is sufficient.

Re: rehearsal dinner
I might do them, but If I do, they will be DIY. I have never received one for a wedding I have been in, so I dont think it is necessary, I might do it just because ..well, I dont have a real reason

Yes...nothing professional BUT we went to pick quick in Farmingdale the other day and this is where I will most likely get the paper and envelopes..they have cute stuff there

Re: rehearsal dinner
We are going the DIY route. I bought blank cards with matching envelopes from AC Moore to send out my STDs and with the extras I will be making RD invites.

Re: rehearsal dinner
We will probably let everyone know by word of mouth, as it is all close family and friends....
