Rehearsal Dinner

Hey Ladies,

So . . . I'm getting married on August 29th which is 5 months away and my FMIL is giving us our rehearsal dinner. She hasn't mentioned anything about it in a while. A while ago she mentioned to my FH the name of a place she was looking into and we haven't heard anything about it.

I love my FMIL but she can be forgetful sometimes and takes forever to get back to us about info that I've asked her for. I'm getting a bit nervous that she's going to wait too long to start looking into places. I haven't said anything lately to my FH cause he doesn't understand the concept of having to do things early in advance when it comes to a wedding.

I'm not sure if I should mention it to him to ask his mom about it or just let it go right now. TIA.

This just happened to me. FH grandmother actually said she wanted to pay for it. Well, she has been in NC for the last three months and we get married in July. I told him to bring it up to her and we are now planning it. Just drop a hint. Thats we what we did and it made her remember!

We booked our RH about 3 months out, I wouldnt worry too much now unless the place she was thinking of books quickly-then Iwould just mention that you would like to have it done and set so that its one less thing you have to worry about

I agree. Drop a hint to reminder her. See if she moves on it from there. You still have some time, so I wouldn't worry about the timing yet.

i agree just casualy mention it and ask her if she might need some help ... then maybe she can feel like ur not freakng out but that you want to help her ..
