If the grooms parents are throwing the rd, do they do it on their own or is the bride included? I think they are just going to pick a place on their own.
you can offer suggestions to them, especially if you had a place in mind. I would just start a conversation with them about it.
I told FH what place I wanted and he made a suggestion to his parents and they liked the place. HTH.

Oh they didn't ask me either. I just told FH and he told them where he wanted to go.
My future in-laws needed suggestions b/c they dont know any restaurants near the church we're getting married at. I gave them a bunch of options and then they went and checked them all out and chose one (but they did run it by me and FH, first).
FMIL included me in all aspects of it. She let me look at the choices at all the places and decide where I wanted it. I also chose the night/time of it and decided who was coming or not.
