So how much per head is everyone looking at spending on their RD??
Also, do readers and ushers come to the Rehearsal and dinner too?

Yep, readers/ushers, anyone participating in the ceremony.
No idea on per head...I've been to RDs done super casual to super fancy. FFIL is having ours...I think the per head is going to be more than our RH is, but whatev.

Re: Rehearsal Dinner
i just started looking in to this so we can budget for it. I havent called many places but did find one italian place that came to $44 per person with tax and tip included. It was for a pasta, salad and main course, dessert, coffee and unlimited soda & wine. Seemed reasonable so that is the price I am budgeting for.
I am not sure but think the ushers and readers should be invited

Re: Rehearsal Dinner
oh and the RD's that i've been to - the ushers/readers were invited - i guess it's who you want to come and what your budget it.
FMIL is going nuts and inviting OOT so we're having about 50 ppl

Readers and Ushers should be invited to the RD as well.
As far as per head, I am not sure because FIL's will be paying for the RD. I do need to find a place for them though since it's going to be in my old neighborhood and they don't know any place around there

We haven't started this yet. I do know that we are planning to pick someplace on Bell Blvd -- since FH used to bartend at a couple bars there.

Re: Rehearsal Dinner
hmm..thanks for the feedback ladies! I think I'm going to stay around 30-40 per head. I have no idea whether FFIL is paying or at least chipping in. FH is going to ask him what he can put towards it and then my parents will be covering the rest.

Re: Rehearsal Dinner
I think mine basically comes out to be about $50 a head. We reserved a private room and the food and beverage minimum is $1000, there will be 20 of us.
From what I understand, anyone that is involved with the ceremony is invited to the RD, so that includes readers.

Re: Rehearsal Dinner
I'm thinking about doing something super casual since we are having alot of OOT'ers and FMIL and FFIL are not footing this bill. Since FH and I didn't have to contribute $$ towards the wedding we will probably be paying for the RD. So, on that note I think we are doing a BBQ at home. That should cost around $10 per person

Re: Rehearsal Dinner
Yes readers and ushers come to the RD. Im not sure yet how much I am spending. We need to find a place first but FH's parents are paying for it but we need to find the place and pass the bill to them since they live in Pennsylvania and have no ideas about restaurants near me.

Re: Rehearsal Dinner
to cut costs we are doing a meet and greet in our hotels conference room the night before the wedding. We will be getting the food for it at costco and showing movies of FH and I on the projector in there. The room holds 50.
