Is it bad not to have a rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. I don't think we can afford to go to the restaurant or something. Unless you guys know a cheap place for about 20 people.

Im on the same boat as you. We are paying for almost the entire wedding by ourselves, and I dont see how we can budget in a RD!

Re: Rehearsal Dinner
I'm not doing a rehersal dinner, I find to be a big waste of money. I will have a rehersal 3 days before but that is it.

Re: Rehearsal Dinner
I'm not having a rehearsal dinner either -- the funds just weren't there. We are going to have a bbq at our apartment the weekend before for the wedding party and we're getting married at the RH so we'll just have a quick rehearsal before the ceremony

Re: Rehearsal Dinner
I think I am goingto do the same thing. Have something at the apartment. Because I am getting married at the RH too, and I know we will do a quick rehearsal.

We're going to have people come to our apartment and just rehearse there, and then have food there as well

Re: Rehearsal Dinner
we are having a rehearsal dinner we are also paying for every drop of the wedding ourselves. We are having it at Pronto in babylon for like 35/pp with only 25 people invited we want to spend some time with our bridal party because most are living out of state.
My friend was really on a budget she just had just the bridal party and readers go to a chinese buffet place for 13/pp thats definately an option and another friend just had pizza at her home and that was perfectly fine. If you really want one it doesnt have to be fancy a pizza party is just as fun if not more.

Re: Rehearsal Dinner
You could do something low key at your house...pizza, pasta, deli plates...whatever
