Thom Thom in Wantagh? I think Novita in Garden City has a private room (not 100% sure on that though)... if you end up heading into Suffolk, Palmers in Farmingdale is awesome and also Bellissimo in Amityville.

i'm actually doing a very informal one at my parents house. I love laid back get togethers. I really hate going to formal affairs (besides weddings) My shower will be the same way for this reason. Plus we are so tapped out of money already! so this is where we are saving a little

We are having ours at the Melting Pot!!! (in Farmingdale). Novita in garden city does have a private room, that was our original plan, but then when we checked it in person it just didn't wow us.
