How does the RD work? Do I invite the BP and family only or BP and guest plus family and guest?
Thanks in advance!!

Re: Rehearsal Dinner
I think its BP plus their guests and your family. I don't think its right to invite BP and not their guest, especially if any of them are travelling.

Re: Rehearsal Dinner
It really depends who you want to invite to the rehearsal dinner. Some people do it as a welcome dinner with inviting the BP, readers, and out of towners as well.
For us, we didn't get married in a church but we did have some 'readers' so we invited BP with their guests (only if they are engaged, married, or out of town BP member) and readers and that was it.

Re: Rehearsal Dinner
I'm thinking BP with guests and then family and if you want to invite any OOT guests that will def be around (but don't feel obigated).
I'm not sure if we are inviting the readers yet.

Re: Rehearsal Dinner
For me, we're inviting the BP w/ signifcant others, readers w/ significant others and our families. This is only possible because FH's parents are throwing our rehearsal dinner (meaning they're footing the bill).
My sister, however, paid for her own and they only did BP w/ significant others. Nobody questioned it.

Re: Rehearsal Dinner
It completely depends on who you want to include there. Usually, it's everyone involved in the actual ceremony (you guys, the BP, readers, your parents and you immediate siblings). If you want to extend to your BP guests you can, and even the OOT guests. It just really depends on your budget for it.
I'll be having the bridal party w/ significant others, my parents, FH's parents, my grandma, and my aunt. As of now I'm pretty sure FH and I are paying for it, so unless anyone offers to help, this is the final list!

Re: Rehearsal Dinner
We're inviting our BP w/ their spouses or dates...but not their kids. I wouldn't feel right about them not being able to bring their husbands or wives even though people do this. Plus our families and my nieces and nephews.
