For those of you who already booked your rehearsal dinner where did you guys book and how much did it cost. FH and I are paying for the entire wedding ourselves including the rehearsal dinner. We were debating doing a bbq but the few places we can do a rehearsal bbq at are a little small and we would end up being segregated not all together. So I started looking at restaurants in Suffolk with private rooms and most will run for 24 people 880-1000 or more. Does anyone have cheaper rehearsal restaurant suggestions?

We had our RD at Filomena's in Franklin Square. It was about $3,200 for 38 people. I would say that most places if you have it out and any kind of alcohol included in your package would run you around $30 or more a person. A BBQ is a nice idea!

We're having a BBQ at Croxley's Ale House in Smithtown, There is an outside patio where it will be, and the package was around $30 pp I believe (not including alcohol). Although FH's parents are hosting if for us, budget was still a big concern, this was one of the more affordable options we could find while still being a fun idea. Check them out!

We booked at Novita in Garden City, and it comes down to a little under $50 a plate for our 50+ guest list, not including tax or gratuity. They have a private room downstairs, equipped with a small lounge, bar, and private bathrooms.
Also, I remember looking at Milk and Sugar and I think they offered options for $30 a plate from what I can remember. They're worth checking out. :)

Thanks ladies. I actually contacted milk and sugar. That is awesome about Croxely I will have to look into that!
Are you all doing your rehearsal party the week of the wedding, like Weds or Thurs?

I'm thinking of doing it at captain Bill's also, it was the cheapest I've found in the area.

Our ceremony is a Friday so the rehearsal is Wednesday. I just went with what day the venue was available for rehearsal, then booked the dinner. So if your ceremony is in a church they may appoint you a day.

Mine is at page one and is $24pp without alcohol. They let you bring your own alcohol but have a corkage fee.

Check out Garden Grill in Smithtown. I'm having my bridal shower there. For rehearsal dinners, it is $28 pp, excluding alcohol (their prices and menu selections are listed on their website)
