My future mother and father in law have finally decided that they're going to help us out and pay for the rehearsal dinner! Originally we were only planning on having people in the wedding, but they want to include out of town guests since literally all of their side is traveling! Does anyone know of any 'cheaper' places because the only quotes I'm finding are around $40 pp with NO alcohol and they said to find somewhere for 40-50 people and they're from the midwest and they thought hotels would be around $40 a night so I'd like to refrain from giving them a heart attack if possible! We're trying to find somewhere near Massapequa Park since that is where they're staying!! Thank you for your help ladies!!

Not sure if it's too far from you buy my FH is the chef/ kitchen manger of a place in Oakdale. They have great food and their packages are reasonable (under 40$ pp for food w open bar ) they can def accommodate 40-50 ppl as well. Let me know if you want me to fm you more info

What about just doing ciao baby on sunrise. Italian places will probably give you the most bang for your buck. I don't know if crostini over there has a private room but I'd check that too.
