hi! im planning a rehearsal dinner for my sister.. She and her fiance love bbq so i was hoping for some good bbq suggestions in the island.. we would have it catered at my house in syosset.. thanks ladies!!!

there's a bbq place in westbury called famous dave's that does catering, you can go on their website and get information
i've been there for lunch a bunch of times and the food is always good

If you were further east I would suggest the Maple Tree Deli in Riverhead. They have the best pulled pork

The best BBQ on Long Island is by far Smokin Al's in Bayshore..voted #1.
You can also try the Spare Rib or Famous Daves
Also try Iavorne Bros in huntington. They do a package BBQ deal where they even send the staff to cook, etc. It's more of the sausage, chicken, and hot dog but all their food and meat is excellent.
There is this one place in garden city next to seventh street cafe on 7th street off franklin ave. i want to say the name is Moes or something like that but they are supposed to be really good!!!

I think you might be talking about Smokey's Rib Pit, which is actually what I was going to suggest for this post. I've gone their for lunch a few times, and it's really good!
And the only other place I know of is Famous Dave's BBQ, which someone already suggested.
