I am looking for a good place to host our rehearsal dinner which will be quite large because we are having a lot of guests staying at the Best Western in Riverhead.
Some recommended Village Crossroads in Calverton and they seem reasonable but I have never been there so if anyone has been here, how was it?

Village Crossroads is good, also there is Cooperage Inn nearby, Desmonds at East Wind, Georgios...there are a few.

I know that there is a good steakhouse & a good italian place by there but unfortunatly I don't know the names. Did you ask the people at the vineyard if they knew of a place.

Just to follow up with those who are looking at similar rehearsal dinner locations
FI and I went to Meetinghouse Creek Inn and were very disappointed though they were extrememly reasonable. Ordered Duck and it was very dry and someone else in our group ordered shrimp scampi and they only served 4 shrimp on the plate with a pool of oil.
Next as per a recommendation from another liweddings user we are going to check out Calverton Links. I will keep you all updated with what we see there.
