should I invite people with guests?? I don't think it's necessary, but maybe I'm wrong.

Re: Rehearsal Dinner Etiquette
I've only heard of people being invited with their dates, but i'm not sure if it's absolutely 'necessary'. I just think it's a nice gesture. Especially for married couples and stuff, i just feel it's the right thing to do. JMO though!

Re: Rehearsal Dinner Etiquette

Re: Rehearsal Dinner Etiquette
I am only inviting people with guests if those guests will also be at the wedding (and the guest requirement is serious relationship or engagement and marriage)

Re: Rehearsal Dinner Etiquette
Most of our people have a spouse or significant other that we know...but we will be extending an invite for guests for the other 2... who wants to go to a dinner party alone =(

Re: Rehearsal Dinner Etiquette
We invited BM, GM, immediate family, and the parents of the flowergirls/ringbearer. One GM did bring his girlfriend without telling us but its just one person. I don't think its 100% necessary to invite with dates. It's a time to get together with those that will be an important part of your day.

Re: Rehearsal Dinner Etiquette
I don't think that's necessary, we only invited the poeple involved in the ceremony and would need to be there. Some of the bridal party who's BF, GF were not involved but we were friends with we considered, but in the end, we had to reality check ourselves that this isn't the wedding and we had to get in control.

Re: Rehearsal Dinner Etiquette
originally we were inviting BP, Parents, grandparents & OOT ~ now we are just inviting BP, parents, grandparents ~ we are inviting the married couple with there wives/husbands and the singles if they were coming to the wedding with a guest then we would invite them to the rehearsal with a guest but since most of them are coming single we are inviting them as a single person... (plus we have a weird situation that just arose ~ FH got layed off two weeks ago and we are paying for our wedding - rehearsal dinner ourselves)

Re: Rehearsal Dinner Etiquette
We are inviting all bridal party members along w/guests. We are also inviting all OOT guests as well as the readers and ppl. that bring up the gifts and their guests.........hence our RD will have about 70 ppl....we'll start the partying early!!!
