Rehearsal Dinner Favors
Are you guys planning on giving favors to everyone attending the rehearsal dinner? IF so, do you have an inexpensive examples? I am already going crazy with the wedding favors.

Wasn't planning on it because FH's family is hosting. I actually never heard of that. Am I out of the loop??

Re: Rehearsal Dinner Favors
That's so nice that your FH's parents are normal! And they know about the tradition of hosting the RD. Unfortunately, for me my FH's parents are how do i say this nicely....... CHEAP!
Well I don't think you're out of the loop, I guess I don't have to.

I wasn't planning on giving any. That's when we give them their gifts anyway, right?

Re: Rehearsal Dinner Favors
I think that favors at the RD are a little too much-- considering a lot of the people there will be getting OOT bags, etc.I think it's cute to do a little favor for the Farewell brunch- either a paper or some homemade muffins or something- even though they would have just eaten- just depends on how much money you want to spend.

Re: Rehearsal Dinner Favors
Not planning on it. If you want to do it that's great. Just in my opinion, I have to say... enough already... all of these extras are out of control and really add up when you are trying to pay for the wedding yourself. My FSIL gave me a good piece of advice that my FH and I are sticking to... spend you money on what lasts past that day... honeymoon, your rings, photography. As long as you have good food and music the day of a lot of guests don't remember years later whether or not they got a favor.I'm in the minority though and understand that. I never expect a favor when I go to a wedding and actual it brings a smile to my face when I see the bride and groom made a donation to the less fortunate. I'm also an anti-knick knack person. I usually don't take the favor or give it away if it's something that is just going to sit on my shelf. JMO.
I'm not being judgemental... just, im my opinion, honest.

Re: Rehearsal Dinner Favors
I will be giving gifts to our parents and the bridal party which pretty much makes up the entire RD. However for extra guests you can do a small favor like chocolates, which you can never go wrong with.

Re: Rehearsal Dinner Favors
Well- i am- little m&m's with our names and wedding dates in little heart boxes! To each his own- if you want them get them- if not- don't! i'm just doing it because I think it's fun. I think it is far from going overboard- it's just a nice little gesture. Whatever- people can be very judgmental!Welcome New Vendors
