My FMIL and FFIL are hosting our RD in their house. I have the choices of food. We're getting half catered and FMIL is making the rest. Any suggestions? I definately want a variation of foods.

Or come up with some kind of food theme.

Italian and American style is always easy like baked ziti, meatballs, veggies, rolls, ceasar salad, chicken marsala, etc... this way everyone can enjoy. Also, some finger foods like mini hot dogs and shrimp.
Desserts are always fun too

don't forget not too much carbs... it's the day b4 the wedding! Different Salad choices are good and gotta have fruit as one of the dessert choice with cakes, cookies, pastries...

IMO i have a personal toss up with a good ol' BBQ or some salads, baked ziti, chicken marsala, fruit n cheese platters etc.
