I am really trying to avoid our rehearsal dinner turning into a mini wedding in terms of cost. It seems that every place we call is upwards ofthat. I feel like I am stressing myself out trying to find a place for under 20 per head for 25 people.
Is it even possible or should I just throw in the towel and give up?
I have tried going the BBQ or having it at my parents house but it's just not an option in terms of room. My fiance's family is all coming from out of town and we want to have something for them as well as the bridal party.
Any other ideas, or if anyone could suggest a place in western suffolk/Ronkonkoma area to look into? Thanks!!!!!!!!

I'm having mine at the Bulldog Grille in Amityville. It's just over your price range, but def worth checking out.

how a bout a chinese buffet?? sounds cheesy but at least it's relaxed and you know you will have room. and the price is always right. also, try maybe lucarelli's in commack. i think they are about $20 pp. where in suffolk are you looking in particular?

We are using La Grova Ristorante. It's in Lake Grove on Middle Country rd. There basic package is 19.95pp that includes choice of salad, pasta, 4 entrees, desert, unlimited soda, coffee and tea. For 9.99 more you can add unlimited beer and wine. HTH

Thanks! I'll try Lucarelli's. I am looking in Commack/KP area-- where the church is-- and points east to Ronkonkoma/Patchouge--where the hotel is. I've tried calling so many places in Commack and surrounding areas, and all the prices are the same.
My mom suggested the chinese buffet and doesn't sit well with us.
