I need help with my finding a restaurant for my rehearsal dinner. I am getting married on October 26th and we are going to have the rehearsal dinner on the 25th. We are getting married at the Port Jefferson Country Club and that is where the rehearsal will be. We are willing to travel as long as it is not an hour away. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Why not Mario's Restuarant in Port Jeff. That is where my shower was held.They have really good food there, and its pretty close.

THe Printer's Devil is supposed to do a very nice RD. It is right in the town.

I second Mario's and Printer's Devil.
Printer's devil has a really nice setting but Mario's is more reasonably priced.
Portico in Port Jefferson is also very good.

ohh, I forgot about Porticos. They have good food. I havent been to the Printers Devil, but heard good things.

i have heard the food at danfords is not good, I have been to the printers devil a long time ago for a dinner party and it was very nice! I also liked the village inn.

Printer's Devil was pricey!! Mario's is more reasonable and I KNOW their food is great, we booked our RD there for 10/11.

When is the rehersal (day/night)?
There is also the really cool coffee/sandwich place in port jeff....Tiger Lilly ?!! Has vegan and veggy dishes as well.
Depends if you are looking for a different type of location or not.
