Rehearsal Dinner Help

I need help figuring out what to do for our RD. We are really cutting it close on our budget and we have not planned this yet. Any suggestions for an inexpensive RD? I don't even know how these work! I know that my RH will let us do a rehearsal there the Thursday before the wedding, but I am supposed to have a dinner, right?

Hi I actually just booked mine this weekend we booked at the Beechtree Cafe in East Islip on a thursday night with beer wine and soda it came to 22.95 per person HTH

Can you have it at a house and just get it catered in that can save some money

I really wish we could do this, but I can't think of a house that would be suitable for this. There would not be enough room in either of our parents' homes, or in our apartment! Thanks for the suggestion, though.
