Rehearsal Dinner Help!

I want to do a rehearsal dinner tonight like one of my friend's in Florida had, which was a bbq/clambake on the beach/park. She rented a tent an had it catered.

Is there anyway I could do something like near Huntington or Commack. Does anyone know where/who etc?

That's what we wanted to do too. My brother and his wife got married in Rhode Island and they had this awesome clambake.

We live in Huntington. There is NOTHING like that around. We wound up having the RD at a restaurant....it wasn't nearly as cool, but oh well---every1 had a good time. We thought about doing a clambake in our yard. and renting a tent...but then....what if it rains? Also, then we'd have to deal w/ clean up.

By the way...it freaking POURED the night of our RD. Thank God we were inside of a restaurant.

I have no idea of the cost, or if they would do it for a small party, but Lessing's does do private parties like Luaus and BBQs at the Pavillion at Sunken Meadow, which is in Kings Park.

I think that is ALOT to plan by tonight Maybe postpone it till closer to the wedding and you can do more research

I'm so confused. It's really cold and windy here, and you want to have a beach clambake tonight ?? Did you really mean to say 'tonight'?

Sorry I meant at night/dusk, not tonight. I'm in Tampa right now!

I talked to Lessing and they won't do a party below 75 people and the guy was SUPER RUDE!

Any other ideas, parks, etc?

AHHH that make sense now lol I would try to call a few tent companies and some catering facilities I know Gemeli's in Babylon and Kitchen Kabaret in Bay shore both cater try calling them Good Luck

we have been on the same search for 6months now. We found a perfect place that closed down:( so we are back on the hunt--- please let me know if you find anything and I will do the same for you!!

I was a waitress last summer for this company. Food is great and the people are really nice. They do a lot of beach parties.
