Rehearsal Dinner Help!

Rehearsal Dinner Help!

Ok, so here's the deal.

I'm pretty much clueless still with some of this wedding stuff. We are not having a rehearsal as we are not getting married at a church and you don't really need to do much rehearsing from what I am told if you are getting married at the venue. Because of this, do we still need to have a rehearsal dinner? What is the point of the dinner? I mean there is no time for us to even go to the venue beforehand because other weddings will be going on, unless we try to go on like the Wednesday or Thursday beforehand and then how am I going to get everyone together in the middle of the week? I am not sure what to...please help! TIA girls!

We are not getting married in a church either, but we are still having a rehearsal dinner. I think its nice to get everyone together the night before to hand out gifts and things like that.

I agree but maybe you can have everyone over for just snacks rather than a full dinner

I'm doing it to get both families together and hand out gifts, but I agree ...if u don't want a dinner, can u do appetizers and cocktails?
