Rehearsal Dinner Invitations
How far in advance are your rehearsal dinner invitations going out? How does 8/1 sound for an 8/13 rehearsal?

Seems a bit late
I'm going to try and have my rehearsal invites out the end of this week. August 4th for my Sept. 15th wedding, with a Sept. 1st, RSVP.

Rehearsal Dinner Invitations
I personally would send them out 7/13 for an RSVP date of 8/1. You will always have people who don't respond and then you will have to call them. Is this for 2001 or 2002? If it is for 2002 you may not have a choice. Good Luck.

Rehearsal Dinner Invitations - Stef28 Thats 8/1 for 9/13
I guess I'm loosing it! I read your response and said what is she talking about we are getting married the same weekend. Then I looked at my post and realized I was a month off on the date. So I guess I am right on schedule. I finished printing & addressing them last night. I will pop them in the mail tomorrow.

I do not think that your type of remarks are necessary or welcomed. What might seem so obvious to you may not be to someone else and I really don`t see why you think you need to point it out. The purpose of this board is to help each other not put each other down.

Don`t bother with the mail.
As for sending invites out so late, I personally wouldn`t bother. You never know how long the US postal service is going to take to find your friends and deliver the mail, and how are you going to deal with RSVP's you don't get. I would freak out. Why don`t you send invitations via e-mail? You can use Evite.com or even design your own invites on say, for instance Powerpoint, and attach them in an e-mail. I have done this loads of times and have always received great feed back. You can personalize and design it however you`d like.

Love the email idea!
I've received invites to different parties using PowerPoint, and really loved it! It was so easy responding via email (I'm horrible with RSVPs!). Good luck with it.Welcome New Vendors
