Re: rehearsal dinner invitations???
I wanted to send invites, but FMIL said no!?! (and I was wiling to do the work). She's not really into the details like I am. I ended up sending a mass email. I thought an actual invite was a nice touch.

Re: rehearsal dinner invitations???
My brother and SIL sent out invites for their rehearsal dinner. I believe they had cards printed through shutterfly that had one of their engagement pictures on the front, and all the info. inside. I am planning on sending ones out too. I just got cards from the martha stewart collection that they sell at michaels. They have a light brown border and a matching envelope liner. I'm just going to run them through the printer at home.

I sent them, they are in my album... with a lil note about what the timeline was for the day. I go ridiculed for it too. Not the invite part the list part.

Re: rehearsal dinner invitations???
We sent RD invites, they were DIY, here is my wording:
Before Michelle and Michael can walk down the aisle we must get together for a quick wedding trial
The rehearsal will begin at 6:30pm on the dot where the soon to be Mr. and Mrs. will practice tying the knot
Once we have practiced we hope you will stay we will gather for dinner before we go on our way
Thursday, November 1st
Ceremony Rehearsal at (Church name)
Dinner at 7:30pm (Restaurant name)
Regrets Only: (contact info.)

Re: rehearsal dinner invitations???
We ended up calling people to invite them because my FIL decided to host an RD 4 days before my wedding. If I would have had more notice I would have DIY'd them. They have some invitation kits that you can use and they cost between $20- $25. Let me know if you need any help.

I'm not sure yet. FMIL is trying to tell us who to invite since she is paying for part of it (as in, asking us to uninvite the dates of two GM b/c she wants her sister there instead). So not sure if we're going to do anything yet.

we did vistaprint and they were great!!!! I would highly recomend them. I think I have a picture of ours in my album, not sure. But we got them for super cheap. They run sales on certain products periodically, our's were half off when we got them so for 40 invites I think the total was like $12 and since we had enough time we were able to choose the cheapest shipping (like 21 days or something)

Re: rehearsal dinner invitations???
You could go to staples or something and print them out yourself...it wouldn't be much money. I am going to want to do invitations...
