Rehearsal Dinner Invite Help

Rehearsal Dinner Invite Help

How did you or do you plan to tell your wedding party about the rehearsal dinner? We are trying to keep it to a minimum of the people involved directly with the wedding. Our wedding party, parents, grandparents, readers and possibly a few close out of towners.

Do you think it would be OK to put a small insert into the wedding party's wedding invitations telling them the time and place for the rehearsal and the dinner?

It eliminates another invitation going out in the mail or an evite that they may not get. I figure if I do it this way, the people that we NEED there will know about it and then I can extend just the dinner portion through an evite to the OTTs that we want to have at the dinner.

Thoughts, ideas?

I've gotten an insenrt like the one you are describing in an invitation before. it worked out fine, everyone who got one knew where they had to be and when. but if you do this, make sure you get hte envelopes with the extra insert weighed separately in case it needs more postage.

Yeah, I dont think it will need more than the others though, its just a simple piece of regular paper (like an additional church or reception directions card from the venue). But I will be sure they weight the regular one and the insert one sep just to be sure.
