I was thinking about printing something up on the computer, either a plain piece of paper or nice paper and coming up with some corny statement. Wouldn't be expensive
ETA I'm definetely getting old since last year we were invited to his cousins RD. For the life of me I can't remember how she did it. It was a black tie event so much more formal than ours will be.

Re: Rehearsal Dinner invite question
my friend mailed us invitiations... we thought it was a great idea... all the info to the resturant and church was inside and it made it formal... we are going to do the same

Normally i think this would be a GREAT idea, but i'm not sure. I have to take a look since I don't think I have everyone's email addy's.
Plus, i have a feeling that FH's parents will object. FFIL doesn't believe in email....They aren't helping at all with the wedding and the RD is the onlything they are hosting (and IMO care about).

You can actually buy RH invites from Target or Hallmark or even Michaels. I already bought mine because they were only $3.00 in Target on sale back in Sept.
we're doing invitations. isnt that what youre supposed to do?
my brother did it for his--i know because i picked them out and printed them on my printer!

Re: Rehearsal Dinner invite question
Informal invite with date, time, location, etc. Maybe via email or maybe just a simple card printed out & mailed... not sure yet- nothing too formal though
