Rehearsal dinner invites?

Rehearsal dinner invites?

Are you all having invitations for your rehearsal dinner? If so, are you having them made? Ugh, one more thing I really put no thought into!! I can't possibly afford more invitations...do you think it's ok to make them on publisher??

Thanks!

I think they may have cute ones in the bridal registry room at Fortunoff. It will save the trouble of having to make them!

We did have RD invites ---

I think that it is 50/50 on this as to whether you do or don't.

Both of our immediate families are pretty big, our bridal party was pretty big and many of them were from out of town. So, it was easier for me to do invites with the date, time, place and stick the directions inside...

I made ours --- I used heavy card stock, a really cool font and tied them with ribbon. We had pretty much maxed out our budget and by the time we came towards the end spending more money to have them made was so out of the question!

Here is a site that I found on weddingchannel.com with fonts.. http://scils.rutgers.edu/~marisag/font/

that font dont work. it says:

The font library is no more. I have been informed that many of the fonts that I collected on the internet for free were in fact copyrighted property. I will no longer make them available here, and I apologize to anyone who was hurt by this endeavor.

I made them myself...but because they were last minute I had to go to Kate Paperie for the supplies and that cost a small fortune:

You made those?????????????????? OMG - I could never do that - not that creative!!!! They are beautiful!!! I could make something simple, but I only have an inkjet printer (a decent one, but still, I don't think it will **** up the heavier card stock!!).........oh boy!!

Actually - they are very easy to make because I bought everything from Kates. All you need is a black and white printer to print on the white cardstock and assemble.

I am actually not having a RD but we have something similar, an Ufruf dinner. I am just making phone calls I can't take anymore things to have to do. I will just assign this to my fh and mom.
