We are having a tough time finding a good place to have our RD. The first place we loved, Oscar's, promised us the room I fell in love with but then said we couldn't have it and if we wanted it then it would be double the price So, I'm a little peeved at them but oh well...
Then, Bella Vita is booked on the day we are having it. The Garden Grill is not an option for other reasons, La Famiglia is not an option either, Casa Rustica is about $60 a person BEFORE tax and tip which is more than my IL's want to pay and I can't blame them!
So, are there any other places you lovely ladies can suggest??
My Church is in Nesconset, which is in Smithtown so ANY place in that area with GREAT food??? (my family and Vin's family- yes, we are food snobs and we are proud of it so the food has to be AWESOME).

What about John Harvards? I called them they weren't that badly priced. Their food is not too bad... There is the Grill Room in Ronkonkoma or what about ... H20? in Smithtown? Or What about Ciao Baby in Commack?

There are also two on the left hand side of 25 if you are heading towards Smithhaven...my friend had hers at the first one on the left and for the life of me I can't think of the name of it.

How about Villa Sorento on Jericho turnpike in Smithtown? We had a retirement party for my mom there. It was lovely!

sorry about Oscars - that's one of our favorites. we are having our in Smithtown or Saint James and were just about to start looking.....what about Venezia on Jericho Orlando Mauricio's on on Jericho Sundried Tomato in Nesconet (not sure if they have side room) Red Dish but it's Commack John Harvard's
in Port Jeff there's Pasta Pasta another favorite, and the pricing isn't too bad either

We had ours at Pomodorino's in Hauppauge. Maybe more casual than you were looking for, but fun and relaxed.. we loved!

you know what -- Lombardi's on the Sound has a restaurant too. And I know the Mama Lombardi's RD's are reasonable. Give them a try! Great food and great water views!

I had my shower at Orlando Mauricio's II in St James. The food is great and I think it was very reasonably priced!

My bridals shower was just here and it is soooo nice from the atmosphere to staff to food. Def. check it out.

We are having ours at Butterfield's in Happauge. It is kind of hidden back by the offices there, but is a really nice restaurant. They have amazing food (I am a little biased because a friend of FH's family is the chef, but it really is great food). However, there isn't a private room there. They are closing off a back area for us...
