We had ours at Hemingway's in Wantagh. We had the upstairs, which was like a private loft and no one bothered us. But in order to reserve this space, you have to have a minimum of 40 people. The in-laws, who were footing the bill, paid for 40 people although we had more like 35, but they wanted the privacy. The food was great!

I am not sure if they have a separate room- but check out Runyon's in Seaford on Merrick Road. There is also that pasta place across the street from Runyons.
My friend had her RD at Hemmingway's too- it was very good.
There is that new restaurant- Hudson's Mill on Merrick Rd in East Massapequa across the St. From Nappertandy's- my mom says it's super good food.
Or does Dick & Dora's on the water have a party area?
There used to be a German place on Forest south of Merrick Rd but I don't know if they are open anymore.

Viva Loco is in Bellmore. they serve Italian and Mexican food and it is very fun and festive. They have private rooms too.

Sidekicks in Mass Park has a private room on the side - they have a little bit of everything on their menu.

Sergio's in Massapequa. They have a private room. We had my friend's bridal shower there and everyone is still raving about the place. The owner and everyone who works there is soooooo nice and the food is delicious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had ours at the Wantagh Inn. It was really nice, the food was great, and we had a private room upstairs with its own private bathroom. It was also the least expensive of all the places I looked at.
