Re: rehearsal dinner? night before?
We are doing ours the night before. I have to many OOT people to have it any sooner. We are not having an open bar and it should be over by 10pm so everyone can get a good night sleep

Re: rehearsal dinner? night before?
mine was the night before. it started at 7ish and it was over at 10-10:30ish. the restaurant gave us 3 1/2 hours. as for the 'well rested' part, good luck! haha. i am one of the best sleepers in the world. i can fall asleep pretty much anywhere and within like 5 mins, no joke. the night before the wedding, i couldn't sleep for anything. i would say i got about a total of 3 hours sleep. if i would have thought about it, i would have taken a tylenol pm or something, but because i usually have no problem sleeping i didn't plan for it.

We are having the RD the night before, I have family coming in from out of town that are in the wedding so it made it easier for everyone. We kept the restuarant close to the hotel/my parents house though

Re: rehearsal dinner? night before?
I've been in many weddings and the RD has always been the night before. To me that is the kickoff to the wedding and shouldn't be separate. Also, any oot bp would have to travel twice? That seems weird. keep it the night before.

Re: rehearsal dinner? night before?
I'm hoping to have mine the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend, but since we have to coordinate it with the organist and FH is flat our REFUSING to call her to schedule it and he stole the church packet from me, I'm very concerned that since it's a holiday weekend she won't be able to do it then. I certainly don't want it the week of, let alone the night before.

Re: rehearsal dinner? night before?
Ours is the night before. We have a lot of out of towners in the bridal party so we knew they'd only be able to come one night before. We're staring our RD at 6pm and plan to be done by 9/10pm the latest. I figure I won't be able to sleep much the night before anyway, so I might as well be enjoying the night with family and friends.

Re: rehearsal dinner? night before?
we are doing it the night before at 630. we have alot of OOT who are involved in the wedding and I didnt think it was fair to ask them to take an extra day off of work and rush to a rehearsal two days before. They also would be sitting around the day before the wedding bugging me
