I'm looking for rehearsal dinner places near Bellmore, Merrick, Freeport, Wantaugh. Does anyone have any recommendations? We'll probably have between 40-60 people and would like something not fancy at all. I don't know if Italian food is a good idea since this dinner will most likely take place on July 4. I don't know Long Island too well, but I would like to keep it close to Merrick since that is where most of my guests will be staying. Thanks!
try the Nautical Mile in Freeport! You could all eat outdoors and a most of the restaurants carry an extensive beef and poultry alternative menu.
Hah, I would suggest RS Jones, but i am not sure if they would be in your price range or if they can do it. The food is incredible and the owners are really really nice. And it is sort of a southern tex mex menu, lots of bbq so it would fit the time. Good luck
we are having our engagment party at domenico's in levittown. their food, service, atmosphere and price is excellent. we love it there. it is located right off helpstead turnpike.
The Smithville Cafe is great I used to live down the block from there and they are very accomodating if you are going to have a large group.
