There is a GREAT Spanish restaurant in Queens called Tu Casa. My friend had her RD there and it was a super reasonable price. They do not have a private room though, which is the only bad thing. I would have had it there...but I needed to be in long island.

It's in Kew Gardens, and they have free valet as well.

Tu Casa isn't mexican...it's more a Peruvian fusion food. It's not the local spanish spot...its a nice quaint place. lol

Here is the link if interested.

Thanks! I'm definitely going to check this place out...I'm Dominican and I love spanish food. I'm definitely going to contact them.

I live in Forest Hills, so that's even better for me

Yea the food is really yummy. I didn't go to her RD, but I've been there for girls dinners out...family dinners out...and my good friend is having a christening dinner there for about 30 people soon. Since my OOT guests are staying in LI I couldn't have them trek to queens...and couldn't find anything similar to there on li. So we ended up with Italian.

I've been to Tu Casa - it's good food, but the one room is the only bad thing. If you and your guests are loud or wanna hang out a little long - it may not be good.

I would also recommend Dazie's in Sunnyside. It is a small place but family owned and the decor is really nice. Food is GREAT it's italian.

Yea agreed. But if you have enough people you may take up half of the restaurant anyway. lol

I'm definitely gonna have a big group. But thanks for pointing it out about the room. Looking at their menu, is making me hungry and got me wanting a sangria LOL
