Rehearsal Dinner Quest

What are some special touches to add to a rehearsal dinner?

I feel like someone tonight.................Hmmmmm

ANyway seriously, besides giving the bridal party their gifts. Any other ideas to make it different or special.

We booked our site today and now my brain is going.......Always a first

My Dad started this - he got up and said something - and then asked that everyone one by one says something to the bride or groom - we got some really nice stories - laughs - tears - etc...

I might suprise FH with a grooms cake that night since I don't want one at the wedding. Something that has to do with something he likes-baseball, golf, etc...

I did the grooms cake, but didn't tell Steve and it was a big hit!!! We had it buffet style because it was at my parents house so no roasting(too many people) But I love that idea!!!

The charm pull is a Victorian tradition where the bride 'bakes' charms into a cake and serves it to each of her BMs and whatever charm they pull is supposed to mean something for their future (rings = next to marry, clovers = good luck, etc..). I think you dont have to really bake them in, though
